This is part of the reason why I would love to have CERN/Fermilab reviving SL. On some smaller experiment, we just don't have the funding to buy a support from RH or Canonical. But both CERN and Fermilab will need a Linux distro to continue their mission, and I can still get help with SL7 from Fermilab (granted my experiment is in Fermilab)
