What about putting these in 'extras' (or however this is/will be
called): I believe sooner or later (perhaps SL6?) these will be
completely obsolete ...

So I believe not having these in base distro but available is an
option too ... (like these those who need it will be able to install
.. and 'new' users will start without the legacy stuff ...

My 0.02 Euro ;-)
