Get's asked all the time ... not a stupid question, and not offended.
Most things seem to be progressing nicely.  The goal is before the end of the 
month.  So, within a couple weeks.
We've got most everything compiled and in, what we are currently doing is going 
through packages checking to make sure it's supposed to be in the release or 
not.  With Update 7 RedHat added, renamed, replaced, and removed several 
packages.  Because we've added things, such as GFS and the Cluster Suite, it's 
not as simple as just matching exactly what RedHat released.
We do have several scripts that do this, but we also have to look at each 
exception by hand and double check.
If you want to see the progress, I try to keep the "whiteboard" page up to 
date.  It's actually much more up to date than the real whiteboard it was 
originally immitating.
