Unfortunately on all the machines, one of which I *know* to be rc2, and one 
machine which is 4.0 final, I see the same thing:


RC2 Machine:
# cat /etc/redhat-release
Scientific Linux SL Release 4.0 (Beryllium)

Final Machine:
# cat /etc/redhat-release
Scientific Linux SL Release 4.0 (Beryllium)
