Hi,
We have a system with an Asus P5W DH Deluxe motherboard that has
an onboard Marvell 88E8053 Gigabit LAN Controller.
The system hung a day ago with the following errors:
Feb 9 08:50:07 astro kernel: sky2 eth0: tx timeout
Feb 9 08:50:07 astro kernel: sky2 hardware hung? flushing
Feb 9 08:57:57 astro kernel: sky2 eth0: tx timeout
sky2 is the driver for the aforementioned network device.
Our kernel version is 2.6.9-42.0.8.ELsmp
I googled the error and found references to bugs in sky2
for older kernels.
Has anyone else seen this problem? Does anyone know of a patch?
Thanks,
Eve
