Gents,
 what is the difference between /etc/aliases and /etc/postfix/generic ? and
why aliases is been ignored by postfix despite main.cf having:
alias_maps = hash:/etc/aliases
alias_database = hash:/etc/aliases
entries enabled?

i have root:[log in to unmask] in aliases, but maillog is clearly not
happy with it....
