I downloaded hpl to run some
benchmarks on our sim farm.
I found MPI (lam) and BLAS.
But when I try to compile and
link, it inevitably dies looking
for /usr/local/mpi/lib/libmpich.a
which doesn't exist.

If anyone has successfully built
this, or installed it from an RPM,
any tips would be appreciated.
We're using SL304.

I haven't had to think about
standard benchmarks for eons,
other than xbench for X11. So
if there's something that's more
of a standard, I'd be interested
in that. This just looked like
the standard from some google
searches.

Thanks,
Miles
