Hi All,

I have a machines running SL7 with static IP's. Whenever I restart the
network w/ "service network restart", /etc/resolv.conf is rewritten. I've
read that you can "solve" this problem by stopping network manager
(ie,  "service
NetworkManager stop;

 chkconfig --level 12345 NetworkManager off
" )

Is this the right way to approach the problem?
