Hello,
You must be on the [log in to unmask] mailling list, with is for 
Fermilab and it's affiliates.
For Scientific Linux Fermi (not plain Scientific Linux) we have a once a 
week security errata policy.  There can be exceptions to that if our 
computer security team deems a security update so critical that it has 
to go out earlier.  But the general rule is once a week.
Again, that is for Scientific Linux Fermi, not Scientific Linux.
