We have seen similar things on some Fermilab machines.. big version yum upgrades just don't play nice with systemd.. the 7.3 -> 7.4 transition was similarly dicey. About 1 in 5 machines doesn't reboot clean.

Subject: today's 7.5 updates possibly causing problems

I'm starting to see all kinds of crazy problems on our systems - (e.g.
systemctl & journalctl hanging except for under strace). It's still
early but I'm wondering if some of the recent 7.5 updates are to blame.
It doesn't appear to be (solely) the kernel.

Anyone else seeing problems?
