Hi Troy,
4.4 and 4.6.
I've got the same issues with open office as reported by the other SL user.
Just recompiled TUV source RPM without the
freetype-2.3.5-CVEs.patch and found inkscape
to work fine. When I include this patch behaviour
the same as with your update.
