1) A note first. I think the freeware unrar from one of the repositories can be added in
the upcoming SL update releases, in the future. This is used by Archive Manager
(file-roller) for uncompressing RAR files under GNOME.

Name : unrar
Arch : i386
Version: 3.5.4
Release: 1.2.el4.rf
Size : 199 k
Repo : installed
Summary: Extract, test and view RAR archives

Description:
The unRAR utility is a freeware program, distributed with source code
and developed for extracting, testing and viewing the contents of
archives created with the RAR archiver version 1.50 and above.

2) What exactly is the bugfix repository? What is the difference between current erratas
and bug fixes?
