Hi, all:
This time I use "linux all-generic-ide" to boot to install SL4.4, and partition like this
/dev/hda
/dev/hda1 - /
/dev/hda2 - swap
/dev/hda3 - /OpenWorks
Grub: /dev/hda1
After CD install, it will reboot to setup the system, but boot failed. This is the message:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Booting 'Scientific Linux (2.6.9-42.0.3.ELsmp)'

mount: error 2 mounting none
switchroot: mount failed: 22
umount /inited/dev failed: 2
Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is there anyone know how to solve this problem??
Thanks.
