Dear SL users,

although familiar with debian based linux distributions, this is my first SL
x86_64 installation. I have installed the latest SL version (netboot) with
subsequent update of all packages.
I need the gtk2-devel package.

However, yum is not installing and stops with the following message:

Test Transaction Errors:
package pixman-0.18.4-1.el6_0.1.x86_64 (which is newer than
pixman-0.16.6-1.el6.i686) is already installed

This is confusing to me. yum has selected pixman-0.16.6-1.el6.i686, which
comes from a 686 depot. I'm running x86_64 installation and yum should know
that pixman is already installed.

It would be grateful if someone could help me to sort this problem. Is there
a way to remove manually the pixman dependency ?

Many thanks

Frank
