I can vouch for this, personally and professionally. Even among former
Red Hat personnel I know, "the open source is strong in this one".

I'd actually say they, and we are helping the entire free software and
open source community. There's a great deal that is done right, which
Scientific Linux is taking clear advantage just as it was intended,
and which CentOS also does.
