The first alpha release for Scientific Linux 5.4 has been released for
both i386 and x86_64. This release has most of the new updated packages
from The Upstream Vendors Update 5.

It will install, and it appears to work, but no major testing has been
done.

We are working on the DVD's and will let you know when/if they are
available.
