An interesting Red Hat Kernel patch we came across in the EL6.x kernel sources to check out if you are bored.

If you pass the kernel argument " OMGZOMBIES!" or the EL 6.x kernel detects HW it does not support or recognize your system turns in the walking dead...

Looks like a debugging feature dropped into the EL6.x kernel for the purposes of tainting the kernel to detect/test un-supported hardware.
