Scientific Linux 6.10 RC 1 i386/x86_64 July 5, 2018

According to the upstream lifecycle guide, 6.10 is expected to be the

final release of EL6 with only important security errata or critical bug

fixes going forward.

If no critical bugs are reported before July 10 2018 this will become

the official SL 6.10 release

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

THIS IS NOT FOR PRODUCTION.

This is for testing. Please report back any issues to

[log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> .

There should be no expectation that a "yum" upgrade to SL 6.10 will work.

A new install is the recommended method to move from

"sl6rolling"(this alpha/beta release) and the released SL 6.10.
