it doesn't build for me either. I lost the actual error message, but it 
was java related, about gnu.something.... not being mappable to a any 
class. Maybe a missing build requirement. But then, neither the OS nor the 
account I used were quite pristine. Anyway, the OOo build seems to be a 
bit fragile.

There seems to be a list in SL.releasenote.
