Just for the record, the 2.6 kernels past 2.6.3 (fedora core 2+,
mandrake 10...) I believe support SATA controllers very well. However, I
do know that there is support in Redhat Enterprise Update 2 for the SII
3114 controller. The 3114 is just an extension to 4 ports of the 3112,
and the interface is much the same driver wise.
