Hello,

On March 12, 2013 rsync.scientificlinux.org <http://rsync.scientificlinux.org> 
will be transitioned to new hardware.  We expect this change to be completely 
transparent with no down time.

This change should result in increased reliability and improved performance.

This is the first step of the update to the Scientific Linux distribution 
servers outlined at HEPiX Beijing 2012.

I would like to thank the users who helped us test these systems.  In 
particular we would like to thank Stephan Wiesand for his help identifying 
some performance problems.
