6.10 and 7.8 are out. I suspect the 6.* is going to cause real problems from the PoV of TLS versions. We have a few Dell servers with embedded RAID hardware not supported by 8.x so they will likely remain on 7.* for their lifetime.

This may be getting a bit off-topic, but if your hardware outlives the OS and you wish to upgrade to 8.x, chances are it can be done by using ELRepo's packages:
