Interesting, we will take a look. -- Pat Riehecky Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory www.fnal.gov www.scientificlinux.org ________________________________________ From: Mailing list for Scientific Linux developers worldwide <[log in to unmask]> on behalf of David Caussyn <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Friday, November 15, 2019 10:11 AM To: scientific-linux-devel Subject: [SCIENTIFIC-LINUX-DEVEL] SL 6.10 bug in thunderbird paths. Hi, I just restarted thunderbird, after a security update to thunderbird-68.2.0-2.el6_10.i686, and it failed to start. [caussyn@dhcp111216 ~]$ thunderbird XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /usr/lib/thunderbird/libxul.so: libldap60.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Couldn't load XPCOM. I found to fix this, I had to give the shared library path: export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/thunderbird Then it starts.. Maybe this will be helpful for someone else to use it, or to fix the package. Thanks, Dave Caussyn
