Hi,

I tried to install SL7 as a Xen DomU without luck.

An installation using virtManager failed to open the Console window to perform the installation. According to my investigation into the subject it’s a known problem because Red Hat choose to remove a driver and some other configuration so it doesn’t work anymore.

There are some hints around how to tweak the installation to make it work. But I didn’t manage to try it yet. If you get any results I would appreciate you would share your experiences.

I ended up to install SL6 minimal which works fine and then updated to SL7 using the update program available from CentOS. It works fine, but you don’t have access to the virtual machine console from host.
