sounds like a bad mirror or an SSL issue. Here are possible things on your host or network that can cause SSL not to work correctly 1) your system clock is severely incorrect time by a few hours or days this can cause an error because one of the systems thinks its a replay attack. 2) you must have full forward and revers lookup of the DNS host name and IP's in the servers and the CNAME on the reverse lookup of the IP must match. this can be caused by a caching DNS which ignores TTL's.
