Question Red Hat 6.5 beta was released today, any news on a new release for SL?

While we continue our internal development of SL 5.10, we've posted the relevant security errata for this release to the SL5 testing repo.

Security packages include:
ccid
kernel
php53
samba3x
sssd
sudo
xinetd

We have not yet scheduled an official publication date for these packages.

Please test them and report any issues so that we can work towards addressing them before the official release.

You can install this update for testing via the sl-testing repo on
your SL system:
  yum --enablerepo=sl-testing update <package you wish to test>
