I believe you now have a double nat'ed setup.

If I was doing this I would try to get the Server2003 to nat both
192.168.0.0/24 and 192.168.5.0/24 and stop iptables on the SL box and
have IP forwarding enabled.

For dns your network scripts may need a PEERDNS=yes directive.
