I turned a friend onto SL and he&#39;s asked me the most annoying of questions.....<br>

He wants to download released versions of source codes (SRPMS) and build them for installation.<br>
<br>
(Please don&#39;t ask why, it&#39;s come from someone higher than him on the food chain and so he&#39;s at least trying to figure out if it&#39;s documented someplace so he doesn&#39;t have to reinvent the wheel.)<br>
