Hello,
I wanted to give a status update so people would know what state we're
in with SL 6.1.

I think everything is also at this webpage
http://www.scientificlinux.org/distributions/rolling.whiteboard/

Generally everything is going fairly well, and we hopefully will have
our first alpha release out next week.

I haven't worked on the customized packages yet (httpd, sl-release,
etc..) I've been spending all my time on the normal rebuilds.

Incase anyone wanted to help tack down mysteries, the following packages
haven't built on our Koji server.

- mingw32-gcc (circular dependencies along with x86_64 only on some
packages)
- mksh
- perl-IO-Tty (which is holding up perl-Class-MethodMaker, perl-IPC-Run,
perl-Term-ProgressBar, virt-v2v)
- perl-GSSAPI
- perl-Makefile-Parser
- perl-Test-MockObject
- python-sqlalchemy

Both perl-IO-Tty and mksh build on a normal machine, so I believe it is
a matter of some dependencies they are missing so they won't build on mock.
I'm almost done with a solution for mingw32 building, so don't worry
about that.

Have a good weekend.
Troy
