Hi, This really shouldn't be sent to the devel list, but to the regular scientific-linux-users lists. The same people are on both lists, so you will get the same answer, we just try to keep this list for questions and discussion about developing the releases. But to answer the question gcc 4.3.2 (gcc43) was in SL 5.3. It has been replace d by gcc 4.4.0 (gcc44) in SL 5.4, which isn't out yet. So, just point at SL 5.3, or install a regular 5.3, and you can get gcc 4.3.2.
