It's the 5th official birthday of Scientific Linux. The official creation was at Hepix Spring 2004. Can you believe it's been 5 years already. The rules are based on the feedback I received when we last discussed this. Rules: - License: The logo musted be licensed GPL v2 or the applicable Creative Common's License. - Format: The logo must be in SVG format. - Theme: 6 - Theme: It must be something scientific.. - Overall: It should be a logo and not a picture. You should be able to see the logo from across a room and know that it is the Scientific Linux logo. - Judging: Judging will be done by the main developers and labs who have a vested interest in Scientific Linux. - Timeline: All pictures should be submitted by August 1, 2009. The winner will be announced August 10, 2009. Preferences: (These are just preferences.
