Hello, On a recently installed SL5.2 x86_64 server configured with bonding of ethernet interfaces, the machine was freezed during the night and with no activity. I found at least one reference to a similar problem : https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=468027 I am wondering if some of you had the same problem and if there is a chance that it is fixed soon... I find it quite serious. Here is the config : /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 ONBOOT=yes DEVICE=eth0 TYPE=Ethernet BOOTPROTO=none MASTER=bond0 SLAVE=yes /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth1 ONBOOT=yes DEVICE=eth1 TYPE=Ethernet BOOTPROTO=none MASTER=bond0 SLAVE=yes /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-bond0 ONBOOT=yes DEVICE=bond0 TYPE=Ethernet BOOTPROTO=static IPADDR=134.158.24.132 NETMASK=255.255.248.0 BROADCAST=134.158.31.255 /etc/modprobe.conf alias eth0 bnx2 alias eth1 bnx2 alias scsi_hostadapter megaraid_sas alias scsi_hostadapter1 ata_piix alias bond0 bonding options bonding miimon=100 mode=4 Thanks JM -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jean-michel BARBET | Tel: +33 (0)2 51 85 84 86 Laboratoire SUBATECH Nantes France | Fax: +33 (0)2 51 85 84 79 CNRS-IN2P3/Ecole des Mines/Universite | E-Mail: [log in to unmask] ------------------------------------------------------------------------
