We don't do *anything* with the src.rpm that comes from them. We don't even unpack the src.rpm, we simply do a "rpmbuild --rebuild " How can I be so sure? Because if we ever changed that policy even once, then we would constantly be bombarded with "please put this in the kernel" That is the reason we have kernel-module rpm's. So that we can add kernel modules without touching the kernels. Troy p.s.
