According to the redhat site, qlogic device drivers were updated in RedHat Enterprise 4, Release 5: https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2007-0304.html >The following device drivers have been upgraded to new versions: >... >qla2100: 8.01.04-d7 to 8.01.04-d8-rh1 >qla2200: 8.01.04-d7 to 8.01.04-d8-rh1 >qla2300: 8.01.04-d7 to 8.01.04-d8-rh1 >qla2322: 8.01.04-d7 to 8.01.04-d8-rh1 >qla2400: 8.01.04-d7 to 8.01.04-d8-rh1 >qla2xxx: 8.01.04-d7 to 8.01.04-d8-rh1 >qla6312: 8.01.04-d7 to 8.01.04-d8-rh1 Interesting we seem to be a NEWER drivers on our Scientific Linux 4.5 (x86_64) machines (8.01.07 vs 8.01.04). In fact these drivers seem to be NEWER than Redhat Enterprise 4, Release 6. https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2007-0791.html Where did these drivers come from ? Is this expected/standard policy to include newer kernel updates than the TUV ?
