-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Having fought this battle just today I can comment on one item. The wireless will require an intel driver (ipw3945 available from sourceforge). That's the good news. The driver, however, needs a kernel > 2.6.13 which is a couple of patches past RHEL4's 2.6.9. My solution was to 1) update the kernel to the current 2.6.17.13 2) turn off SELINUX at boot (enforcing=0 on the grub kernel line) since changes in the kernel support for SELINUX in more recent kernels cause a crash at boot if it is on. Why not go core 2 duo at this point - they cost the same and performance is better (plus you get 64 bits if you need it)? Robert E.
