Hi Chris,
I've looked at their's, and theirs is very much an all-or-nothing.

Everything is installed under /scisoft and it all expects everything to 
be installed under there.  Re-doing their rpms to be non-scisoft ended 
up being more labor intensive that I had time.
I even thought of saying 'oh well, we'll just pull it all in', but it's 
450Meg for the whole thing, which would greatly increase the size of the 
distribution.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing, they do have some very good stuff. 
It's just not portable enough in my opinion.

Since it is a yum repository, I could put it in the yum configuration if 
people want.
