Why add the > i386 package to the errata? > That was actually a slip-up, will be fixed soon. it was supposed to be the x86_64 version. This mkinitrd from S.L. 4.2 was actually something that we found the new kernel depended on. Since that wasn't in our regular scripts and checks, and had to be added by hand, looks like me slipped on that one. On a related note ... the openssh errata required the latest audit which requires (still double checking) ... my I love the errata that comes out when they fire off a new update, the dependancies are annoying.
