Howdy,
I have updated the mirror page for Scientific Linux.
https://www.scientificlinux.org/download/mirroring/

It has some tips on mirroring ... particularly about what would be a
good idea on what to exclude, and the proper syntax for excluding.

https://www.scientificlinux.org/download/mirroring/mirror.tips

It also has the size's of the distribution's, and the size if you
exclude what we recommend you exclude.

https://www.scientificlinux.org/download/mirroring/mirror.size

Plus it has the information, like before, of how to actually mirror
using ftp

https://www.scientificlinux.org/download/mirroring/mirror.ftp

and rsync

https://www.scientificlinux.org/download/mirroring/mirror.rsync

On the subject of rsync, you'll notice on that page that is says we have
a new server, rsync.scientificlinux.org. So people no longer have to
send me e-mail to get rsync access to ftp.scientificlinux.org. But the
syntax is one directory off, so you'll have to change your scripts a
little bit.
