Hi Todd, Sure enough, that file isn't there, and it's supposed to be. (Although it's /usr/share/gdm/themes/Bluecurve/background.png) I happen to be editing the rpm right now, so I'll get it fixed. Looks like we missed a tweek in the makefile.
