You will have to install these manually as the auto yum run does NOT do kernels. 2. Only for OpenAFS users. The yum(2.0.7-7) from 303 will handle the kernel-module-openafs rpms, the version on 302 will not. So it is suggested that you install this newer yum before trying to upgrade this kernel. ftp://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/303/x86_64/SL/RPMS/yum-2.0.7-7.SL.noarch.rpm 3. Only for ia32e users. The yum version 2.0.7-8 that is now currently in contrib needs to be installed before installing these kernel updates.
