Hi,

since updating to SL 7.8 I have issues with releasing AFS volumes:

vos release -verbose -force xxx.xx.xxx
...
Release failed: VOLSER: Problems encountered in doing the dump !
The volume 536871257 could not be released to the following 1 sites:
                          xxx.yyy.zz /vicepa
VOLSER: release could not be completed
Error in vos release command.
VOLSER: release could not be completed

SL 7.8 is running on both (source and target) AFS servers.

Using kernel and openafs from SL 7.7 did not help. Can anyone verify
whether AFS volume release is working with SL 7.8? Just want to
determine first if this is a local issue or whether SL 7.8 is broken in
that respect.
