I agree, but before removing pluginreg.dat I checked that
those configs (which should be saved somewhere else) where not
changed.
For example if you change "Always Activate" with "Ask to
Activate" in any plugin, quit firefox, remove pluginreg.dat
and restart firefox you will see that "Ask to Activate" is
still there.
