Hi David,

Thank you, this afternoon, I had a look on cloud-init and performed
some tests installing and activating cloud-init on a physical
machine aiming at having it read a USB key.

I am using "config-drive" as a datasource and have not been able
until now to make it work. cloud-init end with :

2016-01-15 16:46:01,442 - util.py[WARNING]: Broken config drive: /dev/sdb
2016-01-15 16:46:01,444 - util.py[WARNING]: No instance datasource
found! Likely bad things to come!

The key is unpartitioned vfat labelled "config-2" and have the
structure :

ls -R /media/
/media/:
etc openstack

/media/etc:
network

/media/etc/network:
interfaces

/media/openstack:
content latest

/media/openstack/content:
0000

/media/openstack/latest:
meta_data.json

=> I will continue to research on this way next week but thanks already
    for the suggestion.

JM
