Have you lodged anything on the RH bugzilla site?

SL doesn't create the packages, only rebuilds them from the RH provided
source. As such, if you need to get something fixed, swing by the RH BZ
and make a report.

I would however start looking at existing reports - as it may not be a
kernel problem at all:
