I haven't looked in the cause of the issue... but yes, that same issue.  The iso boots and the installer works... and the system is installed.  When I try to boot the installed system, it won't boot... not even the rescue kernel.  Oracle has two different kernel branches to pick from and I was wondering if that had anything to do with it... but like I said, I haven't looked into it yet.  I was actually being lazy and hoping the SL and CentOS guys would get it figured out for me... if indeed the issue applied to them as well.
