Dear all,
I’m posting this bug report here, as I’m not sure where to find the relevant bugzilla. I did not see any clear information on the SLC webpage describing where to report bugs.
I just installed the afs_tools package in order to access the afs_admin command from my workstation. After installation, running this produced the error message:
$ afs_admin
ERROR: arc not found in /usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/sue/bin:/afs/usr/local/etc:/usr/afsws/bin:/usr/afsws/etc:/opt/local/bin
<normal output>
Trying to list the quota of a AFS project workspace yielded the following error:
$ afs_admin list_quota
ERROR: arc not found in /usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/sue/bin:/afs/usr/local/etc:/usr/afsws/bin:/usr/afsws/etc:/opt/local/bin
WARN: got ERROR(72057594037927935) Signal 127 (dumped core)
while executing list_quota
Installing the package “arc” from yum resolved the problem, so I suspect this should be included as a dependecy.
Best regards,
Kyrre Sjobak, Scientific Linux user @ CERN
