Unfortunately, it does not.  With 6.5 it works that way.

I did some additional „Google search“ and found some remarks about FB (I suppose frame buffer driver from the context) which has changed in EL7 and which doesn’t take care of XEN’s way anymore but can be compensated by additional kernel parameters during boot. But unfortunately, I’m not familiar enough with the technical details to make any sense of it and had to give up.
