Hi Vladimir,
Just out of curiosity, I went look for what Palimpsest
meant. Maybe there was some meaning to those better
educated than me:
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/palimpsest?s=t
noun
1. a parchment or the like from which writing has
been partially or completely erased to make
room for another text.
Beats the heck out of me. Maybe they though it was
a fun word. Or they thought they were being funny:
UNIX programmers do that on occasion. (I know I do
that occasionally: "Cowardly exiting -- bummer dude!")
