Sir/Madam

Is it possible to do a yum install of scipy on SL6 ?

I did find

http://www.scipy.org/install.html

But when I try

sudo yum install numpy scipy python-matplotlib ipython python-pandas
sympy python-nose

It tells me

No package scipy available.
No package python-pandas available.

The EPEL repository is enabled.

I then found

http://scientificlinuxforum.org/index.php?showtopic=2214

But the rpm's from here suggest I need python 2.7 and I only have python
2.6.6-51.

If anyone knows how to get a yum install of scipy to work,
that would be very much appreciated

Thanking you.

Yours sincerely
