More "Linux fails!" with unspecified problems on unspecified hardware.

If Mr. Karant were not a respected member of this mailing list,
I would be pasting my standard rant about evil Microsoft FUDsters.

(But why is this respected member asking SUSE questions on the SL mailing list?)

As it is, FYI, SL6 works just fine on recent-vintage ASUS motherboards
that feature the UEFI BIOS, with default BIOS settings. Specifically,

ASUS E35M1M-PRO, E45M1M-PRO (low heat machines) and
ASUS P9X79-WS (high-end socket 2011).
